If you want to get this wrasse, and keep him for his life span, the other fishes must be of size for him not to eat them, they must be able to protect themselfs, and have an cover on the tank. I gave you the info you needed to make your decision in what if you want this fish and the larger this fish gets there needs to be less fishes in your tank, do not over croud or big problems won`t be far away. :Thanks a lot for the info. The pet store did tell me that the wrasse would get to about 14-20 inches when full grown. I have seen pics of these broomtail wrasses but they all seem different. I am actually going to purchase one from the Red Sea and I would like to know if they all end up looking the same as adults (green head with purple/lavender spots and deep blue fins). The tank is going to be a 180 gallon but very few fish will be kept together so the wrasse should have enough space before it becomes too big for the tank.
