I have a Niger and Huma also and they get along fine...The prob with Trigs are, they are very investigative...they may nip at a coral, and if the like it, they may devour it...So its a risk with them in an invert tank...otherwise, they are a pleasure to watch and keep.

:We recently purchased a 75 gal tank and are in the acclimation stage at this time. We decided to do a reef tank but while visiting a local aquarium store we fell in love with the picasso and niger triggerfish. We found a local breeder where we can get them very small. Is it possible to place these fish in a tank with large mature corals for a time? All the articles I have read just say they are incompatable with invertibrates. We will be building a customized tank in 2-3 years for predatory fish, but in the meantime, what would make good tankmates for these triggers and can they be kept together in this tank? The store owner said yes, but I don't really trust someone who is selling something. Thanks for any help you can give.
