Hi, in any long term deal with having a trigger in a reef never works for they grow and eat what ever they like to, i seen guys who said they have a trigger or queen angel in their reef tank, and boy, when the time comes they grow, nothing but problems and in a reef you would have to take aprt to catch these fishes and as for a angel fish i never use a net, it could cause them harm and the death.

:We recently purchased a 75 gal tank and are in the acclimation stage at this time. We decided to do a reef tank but while visiting a local aquarium store we fell in love with the picasso and niger triggerfish. We found a local breeder where we can get them very small. Is it possible to place these fish in a tank with large mature corals for a time? All the articles I have read just say they are incompatable with invertibrates. We will be building a customized tank in 2-3 years for predatory fish, but in the meantime, what would make good tankmates for these triggers and can they be kept together in this tank? The store owner said yes, but I don't really trust someone who is selling something. Thanks for any help you can give.
