After reading your post, I did some research on them and I am heartbroken, all six of my tetras are artifically injected. I bought them from a local fish store (this is my first time having a fish tank), I can't believe how cruel people can be.

the pink ones are probably candy tetras too I have seen them at my local petco...I agree it is cruel to dye the fish...and I avoid buying them even though they would brighten up my tank
