It could be ich or cauliflower. Are the spots all bunched up in one area(like cauliflower)? Are they spread out? Yes, ich is highly contagious. Aquari-Sol can be used to treat it.

:Hello. Just today I noticed several white spots on 2 of my black neons. I thought for a second that these spots where like water bubbles on the fish from my water filter. Then I realized that they were not they even stick out (Similar to a human with a pimple or something) they are white, very tiny spots on the tail and on the body of the fish.. I also noticed a couple of these spots on one of my head tail light tetra.. Is this contageous?? Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be? What is ich (or however it's spelled)? Any input on the matter would be appreciated.. Thanx in advance.

:Tim.
