I was going about my routine weekly water changes for both of my 10 gallon tanks. As I was about to dump out the dirty water I noticed that there were little "things" crawling/swimming around in the water...I figured it was one of two things..either it was some sort of insect larva or my neon tetras had layed eggs and they had hatched before the 5 adult tetras or the 16 guppies had eaten them...I was shocked...needless to say I couldn't just kill the little things...Luckily a friend had just given me a fish nursery so they are all trapped in there now...This couldn't have happened at a worse time although I can't believe my luck...tetras with out trying who would have thought! anyway I don't have any of the special food that I've been reading that these little fishies need...can I just powder up the flake food?...If not will they survive over a week till I can get the food they need?...Also has anyone ever seen a photo of baby neons on the internet? if so where please?
