:Hi,
:I have some blind cave fish. I've had them for two years now. I'm not quite sure how long they live, but I do know that they don't like strong light, but they do love a bit of a current. Just turn the current down during feeding time. I find the same thing. They do seem to eat their food from the bottom of the tank. I have only occasionally seen them eat in midwater, and that is when I feed them blood worms. Mine love freeze dried blood worms.
:Happy fish keep ing :)

Thanks for the info. Since I have last posted , I must confess I have definitely fallen in love with these charming little guys. I have never seen such voracious eaters, not to mention messy. I laugh everytime I feed them. I believe my other fish have learned to stay out of their way when feeding time comes. Yesterday I was going to stick a tubifex cube on the side of my tank but before I could one of them snatched the cube right out of my hand. He was like a pirahna the way he was shaking it around. Another one loves to swim around with algae wafers in his mouth. I drop a couple in my tank for my bottom feeders, but as soon as it hits the bottom of the tank he scoops it up. The wafer is bigger than his head so it is quite the spectacle to watch. :+) If it were not for the lack of eyes in their head, I would swear they could see, lol.
