I have several dozen green and neon swordtail hybrids which are all turning male. They're not the "normal" thin male, but big and robust males. They all appear to be female, but when they reach maximum size, they all grow the sword.

I've heard that all swordtails are born female, but is this late "change" to male normal? The ONLY normal size male I have is the original breeding neon swordtail.
