No way to really tell unless you know how long they have been preggers. AWhat kind of swords are they? If you have your guppies in the breeder just make sure you have plenty of dense plants. They actually make whats called breeding grass which you can let float uspide down in the tank or anchor in the gravel. And you definately want to get a nursery tank if you plan to keep breeding. I went from 2 10 gals to a 55 gallon. My 2 smaller tanks are now a quarantine & nursery tanks. Good luck with your fry and keep a good eye on them so momma or the other fish dont eat them. (although I've heard they are a good source of nutrition for the other fish!!)

:I need help... I know everyone talks about the gravid spot which i can find on my Guppies easy but not on my swordtails. They both are acting different.. One is swimming up and down the tank the other just stays in the corner but they both look like they could bust...I have a good bit of plants in the tank..i have a breeding net but have fry guppies in it right now... I need to go and get a couple more tanks set up i know... But anyways, any other way to tell if they are going to have them soon???
