::Hi! Im going to take care of my new fishes! im going to get 1 male and 1 female! is a 1 gallon tank good enough for them? please help me. i dont want to make mistakes like i did to the last fishes! tell me some tips too ok? THX

:
:A 1-gallon tank is way too small for two swordtails. They would need at the very least a 10-gallon tank, and then you would need a spare to grow out the fry in. Also, it would be best to have at least two females to one male so he doesn't harass her to death by wanting to breed all the time. I would also suggest you take stocking a tank very slow and only start out with one fish to begin with. Check out the following site to find out more about setting up a successful tank. If you have further questions don't hesitate to ask.
