Feeding my new snakehead..

Can small snakeheads be fed cichlid pellets or other storebought foods like that? Also will bloodworms work for a while. My fish is only 4 in. and by itself. If i can't feed these things...what do you guys recommend?
I have researched them and i know how big they get and what a responsibility it will be.
