My black mystery snail has been very lethargis for a few days, ad spending some time on his back. His shell has also been losing color.
When I looked at him today, there was a gold colored thing pokeing out of his shell. At first I thought it was a rock, but on closer inspection it seems to be atatched somewhere inside his shell. It is slime covered and moves, but I can't tell if it's part of his body or not.I know they have an organ called a osphrdia, But I don't know if it can accually stick out, or if it's flat.
Thinking it was some kind of worm, I wanted to pull it out, but had second thoughts.
Does anyone out there have any ideas?
