I just bought a few more mystery snails for my tank thinking that breeding them would be interesting. I have seen one on top of the other and the one on the bottom shaking it off several times. Does this mean they are breeding? Could it be that one is trying to breed with the other but it is of the same sex? I thought when they do breed they stay together for a certain amount of time but these two only go at it for a minute or two. I also have heard conflicting reports about wether they actually need a partner or not, some say they are hemaphrodite and others say they need a mate. Maybe one snail is confused about the sex of the other? Anyone who has sen them breed, please fill me in on what to look for. Thanks
