:hey everyone,
: After a few years of bugging my parents, there finally gonna let me get a shark, Me and my dad are going to build a tank, I was just wondering, what kind of sharks can you buy (or find easily on the market) and what size tank they need. I'm really interested in getting a blacktip reef shark, so if you have any info or sites that I should check out, can you please let me know, well thanks in advance!

You should really consider if Sharks are for you. If the answer is yes then you are choices you must make and these are just a few of them. One is a the type of shark you will get. To help with this get the book called "Aquarium Sharks & Rays" by Scott W. Michael, this is the best book on the subject of sharks you can get. It will tell you the pro's and con's of most of the types of sharks you will ever find in a Fish store.
Just for refrence this is what the books say's
They are born at about 12.9 to 20.1 inches long
Max length can reach 70.2in (When or if depends on how much it gets to eat)Aquarium size 5,750 gal for full grown ( Wow )
before you buy read read plan
