If you are planning one keeping the shark, get much larger, and as for the cat shark, they swim at night, but if you have triggers in the tank to and you feed them and the cat shark`s hungry, it will come out to feed and if its not to small he will take the food away from the triggers. When i use to do a sting ray and shark tank years ago, the tank was 300 gallons and when the sharks grow to 3 feet i took them to a gut who had a 14,000 gallon system. You can not keep these marine creatures in smaller tanks for in time there health would fail.

::Im looking to invest in a tank about 100 gallons. Are there any sharks that would be suitable for this sized tank (4x2x2ft) and if so would a pair be more happy together? Would it outgrow the tank??

::Pleeease help, much appreciated.

:Im planning on keeping a bamboo shark and a cat shark (if I can find them). Cat Sharks, Atelomycterus Marmoratus, would be OK for that size tank. I would probably say get a 125 or larger.
