I would just like to clarify something. Not all seahorses need tanks at 70F. There are tropical species ie. H. Barbouri that like warmer tank temps than that. All temperate species do like cooler water, and if tank temps get to high, they get very stressed out. So you cannot generalize and say all seahorses. It is only temperate species that enjoy those temps.

:I've got a 20H (with a Skilter 250) right now waiting to begin the cycling process when I get paid this week, and I wanna take a look around at the pet stores to see what pricing is of the different inhabitants I'll consider. This tank will be temporary until year's end, when we plan to fit a 46 Bowfront into our budget and migrate everything in this 20H to it.
:Also, our home doesn't have A/C (for a few more years most likely), and I'm in Wisconsin. Will I need to worry about the water temp rising to high?
