Pregnent male with problems, HELP

I just got 12 dwarf seahorses in the mail today. They are very tiny, maybe 3/4 of an inch and very very skinny. They seem to enjoy the newly hatched brine I gave them. One of the Dwarfs came pregents, very noticibly fat. AFter 2 hours in the tank, he is hitched to the base of the plant with his belly on the ground. Is this okay, when will he have babies?!?!? PLEASE HELP.
