Hi, I'm new to this forum but I've been raising dwarf seahorses for about 30 years. I have always had live rock in my tanks without any of the problems that others seem to have. My dwarfs (about 200) peck off the rocks. I usually keep 2 or three chunks of live rock surrounded by calerpa or halimeda in a 20gal with a protein skimmer and sponge filter for filtration. The water is always pristine. All of my seahorses are now homebred.
