I have recently posted many messages on this forum. I have finally figured out what I'm doing. A clownfish tank (MAYBE a damsel or two if I use a 55 gal.) of either 29 or 55 gallons. Which should I go with? I'm thinking an anenome too. I hope someone can help. Now that I have enjoyed a freshwater tank, I am now ready to start a saltwater tank also. Now I have read up QUITE a bit on marine aquariums. I was going to do a power filter and now I'm thinking a canister filter. Which one is reccommended? Do I need a protein skimmer? I have read someplaces that I do, and others that say it is uneccessary. I have read that this practice is rather costly, but I am hoping it's not too bad. How often do I need to carry out water changes? We have well water and it has calcium(that's good), but it also contains metals, I believe. What should I use to keep these metals out? Are there any things I left out? Any information is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
