First...30g is fine.....I would not put WC fish in your tank...Check local laws..I believe that is illegal in Florida to boot...Cost is based on how detailed you want to get..Damsels wrasses,tangs....are all good beginners...I would recommend a good reference book to learn about species and care requirements..
