PH of 8.8 is ok..a little on the high side...but ok.. I would not recommend anemones to start with...The damsels will do great..When your tank cycles keep in mind the damsels are very territorial and will be aggressive to tankmates...don't rush fish in your tank...Take your time and enjoy...

:I am currently setting up a saltwater tank and would like some information on the topic. I am thinking about using a 29 gallon tank and was wondering if two damsels and one curly anemone would be compatible. We have well water and it is about 8.8 I wanted to know if this range is appropriate for marine fish. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
