Hello! I am going to start a saltwater tank in June or July. I was wondering if I could get some tips on saltwater tanks. I am going for a 40 gallon Tank and need some help determining what fish are compatible and what the proper water conditions should be. I heard that damsels are very hardy saltwater fish. I'm thinking about having a species tank with the dammselfish. They have so much variety and are very stunning. How many could I keep? I'm thinking about 3 or 4. Are they compatible? I have well water and it contains lime. The pH without the regulator is about 8.5 to 9.5 I hope I gave enough info. Any input is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
