PLEASE REPLY - Are my fish unhappy?!?

Hi,

I've got a pretty small 11 gallon saltwater tank with a tomato clown and another little blue fish in it (sorry - don't know it's kind!).

Every caution has been observed in terms of water quality, filtration, light etc. The only thing I can think is lacking is decor - its literally just the two fish and the sand so far.

The problem is this - both fish, particularly the clown, seem very unhappy. They both sit in the lower back corners (in opposite ones - the clown is mean to the other one!) and barely move unless for food.

It has been very hot of late in Australia where I live, with room temperatures heating the tank to average around 30 celcius (optimal is 26 in celcius).

Apart from that, I can't imagine what's wrong.

What I'd like to know is how to make them happier. Coral? Other compatible fish?

Your help is really appreciated...

Andrew
