:ok...i have a 20 gallon but am moving it into a 26 gallon bow front...all the rock is being moved and some of the water but im using new sand...should i move all the rock at once or do it slowly to get it cycled quickest?

set up? Transfering the water will do very little to aid in the "break-in" of a new tank. Remember that one does not "cycle" the tank/water, it is the filter that actually gets cycled. Transfer at least half of the exsisting biofilter media over to the new filter. When the pH, alkalinity, salinity, and temperature match your exising tank setup, then slowly start to transfer rock and other inhabitants. Test the new tank water for ammonia and nitrites each day during the transfer process and settling-in period. You didn't mention anything about critters. Will you be moving fish also?
