I just added a rose urchin to my 90gal tank... ok so no one told me it would eat my live rock to the bone...

Is that a good thing??? I'm VERY new at this and already have a rainbow urchin that was doing very little, I figure two with that appetite would be fine, but the Rose is a lawn mower compared to the rainbow.

Do Rose Urchins eat the good algae off the live rocks or are they bad for the system, ie eat to much of the balancing algae for the NO2-No3 cycle?.

My tank is both Reef and fish. - just starting still - few clowns, damisels and gobies.

Thanks for any thoughts...
