Hi,
I would highly reccoment deticating a lot of time reading about the marine tank.
You will need to cycle your tank first.
the basic equipment you will need is, protein skimmer, lighting, (i reccomend MH or PC)
check out ebay for cheap prices!
Live rock,
and agragonite,
marine test kit
As a begginer, I would not reccomend doing berlin method,
I would used a wet dry for filtration.
(you can make your own, just check out google images--wet dry filter, they have a lot of helpful diagrams)
As for fish,
you prob. wont be able to add for 3-4 months from the date you put in the live rock.
Your tank should be completely cycled and you should wait an additional month before putting in corals.
Many people say that anemones are difficult to keep as a begginer,
but i successfully kept them as a begginer.
Heres a time line you might want to follow:
1 week after tank is cycled: add a couple fish
1.5 - 2 weeks after tank is cycled : add anemone (if desired)
1-2 months after tank is cycled: add corals
My most helpful suggstion however, is BE PATIENT!!
dont rush anything!
Good luck!
