Redtail and Rainbow

I originally had a rainbow shark in a community tank and added a red tail to the mix a couple of months ago. The red tail dominated over the rainbow keeping it in the caves and hidden amongst plants until a couple of days ago. Today the two of them were having a great time: floating next to each other, then jerk rhythmically or lay on their sides then fly around the tank side by side! They look like they are being affectionate to each other. This behavior is nothing like the aggression which had been taking place prior to this.

Anyone have an idea what these two buggers are up to?
