: I really want an RTS, but I can't find a good size aquarium for him. What size should I get him? I have enough money for a 10 gallon with pump, food, heater, and under gravel filter, shark, and the gravel/decor. They aren't brackish are they? I know how big they get so this tank would be temporary. Suggestions? Thanx!

RTS are not brackish water fish.

A small RTS (1.5,2") would do fine in a 10 gallon tank. RTS dont get really big 4 to 5 inches is average size for them. So you can put a small RTS in a 10 gallon and just save up for a 20 long or 29 gallon tank when the RTS gets bigger.

Good Luck
