You should check the papers and possibly the yellow pages in your area. Also, look up the Mid-Atlantic Koi Society on the net. They have quite a few chapters around including one on Long Island Where I live. You could check out the meetings, meet some folks, make friends and have a great time. They often swap plants and fish and are a wonderful source of ideas and pond supply sources. Good luck.
