I repot them when they are emerging,you can trade some ,sell others or giving them to others that have ponds


: Well, it's time to repot again. My hardy water lily is really root bound again.

: The last time I re-potted, I ended up with about 6 divisions. Some had one eye, some had up to 4. I guess this is a very vigorous variety (don't ask, it was supposed to be a pink, but ended up a white. It was obviously incorrectly labeled by the grower.)

: What do you folks do with the extra divisions? I gave away 4 to other backyard ponders and put 2 into the local rainwater recharge basins (we call them "sumps" here. The groundwater is close to the surface and these stay wet all year long.) I just know I'm going to have lots of divisions again.
