I recently bought a species of amazon broad leaf (I don't know the specific species) from my neighborhood pet store. The owner, who could barely speak english, made a feeble attempt at telling me to "put it in the rocks" when I asked him how to care for it. A few days went by, and I noticed the leaves starting to thin out and become somewhat transparent. I bought a substrate with fertilizer and set the plant up as properly as I could afford after looking on a few websites. Threw all this moving and resetting, a few of the leaves were snapped on the stems but are still connected. Should I remove these leaves? How can I assure that this plant survives if possible. Well, that's all, thank you for any help you can give me.
