I thought it was 10 gallons a fish? I took a test and it said "safe" for the nitrites. The algae was like hair, really thick and sticky. My pleco got tangled to the plant with the algae wrapped around it. then it was like that for a week I think. After I found him he was alive but barely able to swim. The sun I guess always shines on the pond. Although I am getting a type of net you could say thats hags from the roof of the house out to the fence. Its for my curly bamboo and some moss thats around my pond. Bummer, all along I thought the rule was 10 gallons a goldfish. Or was it 10 gallons for every inch? So what happens now? Thanx for the help.
