:like I mentioned before the stuff in my pond looks like sand or mud on the bottom and it sticks to my pump as well--I have fish and plants and inside the pots of the water plants the stuff goes there as well ,can not seem to pick it up by hand or with a net--and I have stuff that I put in to eat dead algae but this does not seem to go away.I also have a bottom feeder and it is about a foot long now....is there anything on the market I can try...thanks for reading and any help you might have..as for water moving there is a waterfall and a fountain.

Like I said in the last post, don't add any chemicals to your pond other than the ones you use to remove chlorine. Chemicals do more harm than good. This very well could be brown algae, or dirt, and the only way to get it out is by cleaning. If it's dirt then a good vacuum should help get it off the bottom. The rest you will have to wipe off and then vacuum.
