Do you know where 59(Southwest Frwy) & Hwy 6 intersect? At this intersection Go north on Hwy 6. You will see a small hospital on the right as you go further up hwy 6. Go and park in the hospital parking lot and there will be a huge damn over a small hill. At this dam tons and tons of water hyacinth collect. You will also find tons of hydrilla and hornwort there too. You will have to wade out a little so bring some boots or shoes that you don't mind getting wet & dirty. All you need are some strong plastic bags. A pick up truck is ideal, but I have put the bags of plants in my car plenty of times. Just be carefull that the bags aren't eaking water if you do this. Perhaps double them up or buy some contractor trash bags. The Hospital is on Hwy 6, north of 59 but south of 90. Near First Colony Mall area. Hope this helps.

: Yeah, I had heard that plants will choke out the algae. I do live near Houston, so where do you go for your freebies?
