Bog Filtration vs. Bio filtration

I would like advice on constructing a pond that would be approx. 12'X 18' X 24". We have interviewed 2 contractors, one prefers a large bog filtration system the other prefers a bio-falls filtration system. We are sold on both and can't decide which one would be best for us in order to have lowest maintencance and the healthiest for our fish. I would like to know the benefit or drawback of these systems. If anyone has had a good or bad experience with either of these systems please help! Thank you!
