::i have a brick planter box made of brick and mortor it's a 5ft by 5ft and 2ft deep. i've removed the dirt and i want to turn it into a fish pond i would like to know what i can used to seal and coat the inside with to make it water tight. i don't want to use plastic liner or a tub style insert. is there something out there that i can brush/roll on. thanks

:Personally I would add a pond liner, but you could also go with cement.

I would definately go with the pond liner...cementing it could possibly cause lime to leach out and therefore kill anything in your pond....it doesnt happen all the time but it happens enough to worry about it...
