I have just read your post below, I think he/she almost certainly has what Magic has. Also you need to include some general sinking foods as well, such as Tetra TabiMin and Prima, other sinking Discus forulations are good too. Try giving scalded cabbage or courgette in a lettuce clip if he/she will take too. Metranondizole (also called flagyl) was the main drug I used for the treatment of the protozoans, and I think your Plec will need to be started off on this before moving onto the Protozin when it comes under control. You will need to do this in a separate treatment tank and be very careful of dosage as it is very strong, powerful medication.

Also, check that your other Plec isn't rasping at this one's skin - Magic was kept with another plec until they were both 6-8 inches and we had to separate them when Magic starting rasping at the skin of the other. Good luck, I hope you've caught this in time.
