:::How often and how much should I give my plecos. He is about 2 inches long. I am giving him one large algae disc everyday. Is that too much?

::By large disc, you mean the ones that are about a half inch across? Then yes, I think that overkill. He could just as easily live off of a third of that daily, I'm sure. Any other bottom tankmates vying for the food?

:Yes they are about half an inch. It's just him although my two swordtails and 2 gouramies do try and steal some. I turn the lights out soon after I give it to him hoping the other fish wont get much. They get their own food and I don't want them to get overfed.

:Should I get some smaller disc's and just give him one of them?

:Thanks!

If the disks are the type I'm familiar with (Wardley's or Hikari)you might try breaking the disks into smaller pieces (maybe in half) and feeding the smaller pieces once a day if you think that one whole disk is too much. It won't affect the disks themselves.
