:How long will it take an albino pleco to be a foot long?
Our common pleco, Hoover, went from 3-1/2 inches to about a foot in less than a year. We moved him to his own 40 gal. breeder tank where he is now 15-1/2" and still growing. Feed them and they will grow but as others have said they do need room to move. Our next aquisition will likely be a 100+ gal. tank.
