Yeah, platties poop a lot! As long as the food is also pink, you shouldn't worry about the color. To clean it off the gravel less, you may try turning up the filter, or move the tube closer to the bottom. May also look into a bottom feeder.
:ok i feed my platies twice a day they eat everything and i know im not over feeding them. My concern is that there is tons of platie poop long pink turds all over the bottom of my tank. i vacum regulary but dont wana have to do it dialy. is this normal? should it be pink? please help. i feed them tropical fish flakes is that the irgh tthing to feed them? ok thanks
