yeah, you are very over crowded! With platies and mollies you can put the rule of 1 inch per gallon of water.
You will definatly need to get those goldfish out, too. If they are fancy goldfish, each one will need about 15-20 gallons each.
Comets and other flat body goldfish will need even more! Also, they shouldn't be kept with other fish types because of the amount of ammonia they let off. And your betta will probably start harassing them, if he hasn't already.
If you don't get some bigger tanks, I doubt your fish will be healthy much longer. Good luck!

:I have three- two females and one male. They are about 1 1/2 inches. See the thing is, I have a 20 Gallon in which I have 5 Goldfish and one Betta, plus 3 mollies and 3 Platies. I want to take some out of the overcrowded 20 gallon tank. I was wondering if i should take the 3 mollies and the 3 Platies out, for a total of 6 - or just 3 (maybe the mollies for what i've been reading suggests that they may start breeding fast) and it might be better if they had their own tank. Thanks. I realize my 20 Gallon is overcrowded, though all the fish seem healthy. Lauren
