I have had pregnant platties before, and don't remember rubbing on the bottom or loss of appetite.
These would both be signs of parasites, though. Might want to get her out of the tank so the other fish don't get infected. Check out your local pet store for appropiate medicines.

:Do platys lay on the bottom of the tank when giving birth? My female seems healthy but has been on the bottom of the tank for the past day...it almost looks like she's "rubbing" her stomach against the gravel. She could be pregnant I suppose...she looks quite big and isn't eating...
:How do you know if a platy is pregnant? Is the bottom rubbing thing normal at all?!?
