::hi, just wondering how many platies you can keep in a 10 gallon tank?
::thanks

:Well that would depend upon what sex the platies are you plan to get. If they are all males then I wouldn't put no more than 4 or 5 at the most, but if there is at least one female (which the females should out number the males so the males don't harass the females to death, and I suggest at least 2 females to every male) then I wouldn't put no more than 3 since they will have the tank full with fry in no time.

Thanks! ive got 2 males in there right now and i dont want to breed right away, so i think ill stick w/males for now.
