Hmmmmm, I have never seen a molly that looked like that, but with all the new color variations breeders are trying to create, there's no telling. Most mollies are about an inch or two larger than platies, so it would be very difficult to tell the difference with a picture. That fish might be a molly, but it might also be a platy or swordtail.
