How can you tell the difference between a platy and a molly? Some varieties I can tell easily, like swordtails being a type of platy and black mollies being mollies. But in searching around on the web and looking in stores, some of them look awfully similar.
For example, look at this link . Scroll down and look at "Molly 2" (the picture at the top of this message) vs. "Platy, yellow sunset 5". I can't tell which one is which just by looking at the pictures. Is the photo above actually a platy?
