Is something wrong with my fish or do Platies excrete a tremendous amount of waste? I currently have 2 platies establishing my tank. At any given time either one always has a string haning out of it's anus, many times at least 1" long. I just saw one with a string of waste almost twice as long as the whole fish. Is this normal? Im am only feeding one small meal per day right now.
