This is really a tricky question.

I usually do very well with Amazon Swords regardless of what conditions exist though. As long as your tank is 18" high or more I'd suggest these.

Myself and others on this board can better help you if you tell us how large the tank is in gallons and the height of the tank(HxWxD if possible). Also, how much light is there? Wattage and type of bulbs are good things to mention.
