:: what kind of catfish and pleo is it. and just check the tank for snails, they are harmless to the fish
:: try to get a few large mystery snails in the tank, mine ate every other snail in the tank within days

:::I have a 20g tank with 2 dwarf gouramis, 1 angelfish, 4 neon tetras, a catfish, and a pleco. The plants that I have are corkscrew val, amazon sword, watersprite, purple cabomba, and broad leaf ludwigia. I recently found a snail in my tank and removed him, but I think there may be more. My plants are looking very sick, and I'm virtually positive it's not the fish. Here are my questions:

:::Do snails reproduce?
:::Is there a solution I can use to kill the snails and put my other fish in an isolation tank for a while?
:::Will the snails being the tank hurt my fish?
:::What is the best way of removing these snails?

:Will the bigger snails continue to eat my plants? That's what I'm really worried about, I don't want my plants to die.

some species might eat softer plant leaves, but when they finish off the little snails, you can remove them.
