I disagree w/ introducing the fishes at the same time. Best option is to introduce another fish to your Ps while they're still juveniles, extra room to house each fish so that each can have its own territorial space, and ALWAYS have them well fed. There have been different occurences where Ps are housed with other fish. BUt as each fish grow, appitites grow also. Other than Plecos, I consider Exodons one of the best tank mates for Ps. In most Aquarium museums, you can see Exos housed with Ps. They also actually help each other with feeding habits. Exos would attack feeders for their scales making them weaker for the Ps to go after them. And when Ps chom away at the feeders, you'll see the Exo's swimming around to swoop up the scales.
