White spots on glass?

We have a 100 gallon tank and everytime we turn on the light in the morning there are 30-40 white spots (ick like,64th of an inch in diameter) and a little egg like thing inside. The whole tiny thing is flat like a pancake and is somewhat like the much larger snail eggs that you see when there are snails. After a half an hour or so, they are no longer on the glass except for only a few. They seem to drop off at the bottom. I have no clue what they are, could it be ick? There is nothing on the fish.
